The Argentinian Criminal Code (ACC) is the main legislation governing and penalising behaviours related to bribery and corruption. The legal framework regulating domestic and foreign bribery is set out in Sections 256 to 259 of the ACC. The recently enacted Law No. 27,401 (the Corporate Criminal Liability Law) has amended the ACC and established that, as of 1 March 2018, legal entities can be criminally liable for corruption-related offences.
