Dear All,
General Inspection of Justice (IGJ, for its initials in Spanish) Resolution (G) 13/2020 was published in the Official Gazette on April 2nd, granting an extension to the suspension of terms set by sections 1 and 2 of IGJ Resolution No. 10/2020 from March 31st until April 12th, 2020, inclusive.
Sections 1 and 2 of the resolution above mentioned are drafted as follows:
(i) Suspension of the term for answering decisions as well as services of notice provided by section 24 of General Inspection of Justice Regulations shall be extended until April 12th, 2020, inclusive.
(ii) Suspension of the term for submitting compliance with the annual information report, provided by Decree-Law No. 142.277/43 and General Inspection of Justice General Resolution No. 8/2015, for capitalization and savings companies shall be extended until April 12th, 2020.
By virtue of measures taken by the National Government regarding the current publicly well-known epidemiological situation, the General Inspection of Justice shall not be receiving public visits until April 12th, 2020, inclusive, neither at its main headquarters nor at its offices in other professional associations.
