Ramón Moyano is a partner at Beccar Varela, where he co-heads the M&A, Private Wealth, Private Equity, Sports and Agribusiness departments. He joined the firm in 1993.

His practice areas include mergers & acquisitions, project finance, private clients (HNWIs), private equity and venture capital. He has in-depth experience assisting global investors in Argentina and in transactions related to the TMT (telecoms, media, technology), entertainment, sports, agribusiness, energy, mining and insurance industries. He has led many complex cross-border initiatives, identifying synergies and adding value to clients’ regional operations.

Ramón obtained his Law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (1993) and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom, 1996). He worked as a foreign associate at Simmons & Simmons (London, UK, 1997-1999).

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA). He served as Chairman of the board of directors of the World Services Group (WSG) law firm network in 2020-2021.
