Camila Corvalán is a senior associate at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 2009.

Her practice areas include antitrust (merger control, market investigation, analysis and follow up of anticompetitive conducts), unfair competition, consumer defense, fair trade and international trade (dumping, import license, regulations of World Trade Organization). She has broad expertise representing clients across a wide range of industries in antitrust and international trade issues and advises national and international companies on a daily basis.

Camila obtained her Law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (2009, with honors) and her postgraduate degree in Business Law from the same university (2011). She has an antitrust specialization from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Especialista en Derecho de la Competencia Europeo y Español, IEB, 2012) and worked during the same period as a foreign associate at Goméz, Acebo y Pombo in Madrid.

She has authored various articles and publications on antitrust and participated in the 4th Edition of “The Dominance and Monopolies Review” (2016), and has been invited to participate as a speaker at different conferences in her field.

She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the International Bar Association and member of the board of directors of FAME (Foro Argentino de Mujeres Empresarias/Argentina Women’s Business Forum). Camila is also an active member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) and Vital Voices.

Camila has been recognized by Chambers Latin America, Chambers Global, The Legal 500 and LACCA Approved.

She speaks Spanish and English and is studying Portuguese.
