In attention to the current publicly known epidemiological situation, we hereby inform you about the main measures adopted with tax impact:
1. AFIP. Tax recess.
Through General Resolution No. 4692/2020, the Federal Tax Authority (the “AFIP”) stated a new extraordinary tax recess from April 1st, 2020 to April 12th, 2020. During such period, procedural terms governing national administrative proceedings related to tax, social security and customs matters are suspended.
Nevertheless, deadlines for the filing of tax returns and payment of taxes are not modified nor extended and original schedules remain in force.
2. Tax on personal assets. Term-extension for the advance payment FY 2019 regarding assets located abroad.
Through General Resolution No. 4691/2020 was stated that: (i) the deadline for the advance payment 2019 is May 6th, 2020; and, (ii) the FY 2019 advance payment exemption may be requested up to May 6th, 2020.
