Today, Decree No. 333/2020 was published at the Official Gazette. This Decree establishes a 0% import duty for some hygiene products and medical supplies and exempts them from the statistical fee. The complete list of exempted products can be found here.
This measure aims at the facilitation of imports of products deemed essential for the protection of the population due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Such Decree shall have effects during the sanitary emergency established by Decree N°260/2020, until 12 March 2021.
