María Milagros Pieroni is a senior associate at Beccar Varela. She joined the firm in 2026 and is a member of the Natural Resources: Mining department.
She specializes in mining and environmental law. She has experience advising clients in both the public and private sectors. She has been involved in matters related to energy and natural resources, mining, ESG and sustainability, as well as in mergers and acquisitions transactions and foreign investments.
Milagros graduated as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires (2019). She obtained a Specialization in Natural Resources and Environmental Law and Policy from the same university (2025) and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Environmental Management at Universidad Católica de Salta. She has also completed executive programs and courses in sustainability, project management and socio-environmental conflict management, including the Executive Program for Lawyers In House at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2022), a UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research) seminar, and the Project Management Expert program at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
Prior to joining Beccar Varela, she worked as an associate at Allende & Brea (2022–2026). Previously, she worked as an in-house lawyer at Minera Exar S.A. Earlier in her career, she worked in the legal and procurement areas of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and completed her professional internship in environmental law at Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (2018–2019).
Milagros has participated in academic and research initiatives in the field of natural resources as co-author of various articles.
She is a member of the International Bar Association, and The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law.
She speaks Spanish and English.
