Miguel Remmer is a partner at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 2001. He is a member of the Executive Committee. He heads the firm’s German Desk, certified by the German-Argentine Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK). He co-heads the firm’s Company Law Department.

His practice areas include business law, mergers and acquisitions, and family business. He has in-depth experience assisting foreign investors in doing business in Argentina. He has demonstrated great skill in transactions related to the shipping, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, agribusiness, telecommunications, and the publishing industry.

Miguel obtained his Law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (1997) and carried out postgraduate studies in business law and company law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the Universidad Austral. He also completed the IAE Business School’s “Programa de Dirección de Pequeña y Mediana Empresa” (SME Management Program, 2012). Prior to joining Beccar Varela, he was an associate at Maciel, Norman, Martelli & Beretta.

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the International Bar Association (IBA), AHK Argentina´s Advisory Committee, and the Argentine German Juridic Association.

He speaks Spanish, English and German.
