María is an advisory partner of Beccar Varela, having re-joined the firm in 2017.
She focuses on the areas of general corporate law, M&A and day-to-day corporate advice, advising local and foreign clients with businesses in Argentina. She also has broad expertise advising banks and financial institutions on project finance and debt restructuring.
Maria obtained her Law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (1995, with Honors). She began her career in Beccar Varela in 1997. In 2008, she was named partner. From the end of that year until the beginning of 2017, she was a partner of Benson Natale Abogados, including advising the Ministerio del Interior y Transporte (Interior and Transport Ministry) and the Sociedad Operadora Ferroviaria S.E. (state-owned passenger train service operator).
She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
María has been recognized by The Legal 500 and Latin Lawyer 250.
