Lucía Degano is a partner at Beccar Varela, where she started her career in 2010. She manages the firm’s regional office in the free trade zone in Uruguay.

Her practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, agribusiness, private equity, finance law, and corporate law. She has broad expertise advising international clients doing business in Argentina. As well, she has acted in numerous M&A transactions in various industries, and in financing operations advising local and foreign banks.

Lucía obtained her Law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (2011, with honors). She obtained her Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) from IAE Business School (2019). She worked as a foreign associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP (London, UK, 2015-2016).

She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.
