Environmental Law Department report | OPDS Resolutions No. 241/2020 and No.242/2020: Attention to the public – Access to nature reserves

Dear Sir or Madam,

Through resolution No. 241/2020, the Executive Board of the Provincial Agency for Sustainable Development of the province of Buenos Aires (OPDS) resolved to extend the limitation of face-to-face attention to the public until July 17, 2020. This limitation was initially established by Resolution No. 170/2020 OPDS and extended by resolutions No. 183/2020, 190/2020, 199/2020, 207/2020, 220/2020 and 227/2020 (see our circulars dated May 20, 2020 and June 11,2020), which established the limitation to urgent cases of face-to-face attention (the resolutions do not clarify which the urgent cases are). In addition, through resolution No. 242/2020, the agency extended the entry of visitors to nature reserves under the orbit of OPDS until the same date (July 17, 2020).

Resolutions No. 241/2020 and 242/2020 were published in the Buenos Aires Province Official Gazette on July 6, 2020.

Do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information on this matter.

Sincerely.
