Dear Sir or Madam,
National Institute of Industrial Property Resolution No. 42/2020 (the “Resolution”), published in the Official Gazette today, extends further the suspension of the terms originally provided by Resolution No. 16/2020 and extended by Resolutions No. 22/2020, No. 34/2020 and No. 37/2020.
In this connection, in view of the new extension of the mandatory and preventive social isolation provided by Decree No. 459/2020 of the National Executive Branch, and conferred a new extension of the suspension of the terms of all general and special administrative procedures by means of Decree No. 458/2020, the National Institute of Industrial Property decided to further extend the suspension of terms until May 24, 2020, inclusive.
Finally, the Resolution establishes that the minimum guards and with prior appointment provided by Administrative Decision No. 524/2020 on April 23, 2020, will be maintained.
