Dear Sir or Madam,

Yesterday, Resolution No. 34/2020 of the National Institute of Industrial Property (the “Resolution”) was published in the Official Gazette, extending the suspension of terms originally provided by Resolution No. 16/2020 and later extended by the Resolution No. 22/2020.

In this connection, in line with Decree No. 298/2020 of the National Executive Branch, which suspended the terms of all general and special administrative procedures within the scope of the National Public Administration, the National Institute of Industrial Property issued Resolution No. 16/2020 suspending all deadlines related to transfers, hearings, and notifications, as well as all legal and regulatory terms that were in progress as of March 12, 2020, and those originated as of that date.

Subsequently, conferred a new extension of the suspension of the terms of all general and special administrative procedures by means of Decree No. 327/2020 of the National Executive Branch, the National Institute of Industrial Property issued Resolution No. 22/2020 extending of the suspension of terms originally provided by the aforementioned Resolution No. 16/2020, until April 12, 2020.

Yesterday, due to a new extension of the suspension of the terms issued by the National Executive Branch through Decree No. 355/2020, the National Institute of Industrial Property decided to extend the suspension of terms duly issued until April 26, 2020.
