Dear Sir or Madam,
Resolution No. 178/2020 of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers (the “Resolution”), published in the Official Gazette today, empowers the Secretary of Public Innovation of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers to delegate to the Under Secretariat of Information and Communication Technology − or in the National Directorates that depend on this- the power to decide on the granting of authorizations, registrations, modifications and/or renewals of radioelectric stations for the systems and services of the Master Earth Stations of the Fixed Service by Satellite (SFS) and Mobile Service by Satellite (SMS).
The delegation to the Under Secretariat of Information and Communication Technology includes the power to resolve the granting of the necessary authorizations for the use of the Radioelectric Spectrum as well as the modifications and renewals thereof, in the following systems and services:
• Earth Exploration Satellite Service (EESS)
• Space Research Service (SIE)
• Space Operations Service (OE)
• Fixed Satellite Service (SFS) -Remote Stations
• Aeronautical mobile satellite service
• Aeronautical Mobile Service (OR) by Satellite
• Aeronautical Mobile Service (R) by Satellite
• Mobile Satellite Service (SMS)
• Radio Astronomy Stations
• Earth Stations in Motion (ESIM).
The power of delegation granted by the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers through the Resolution is carried out in order to optimize the tasks of the Ministry of Public Innovation in order to carry out the relevant procedures and requests in an agile and efficient environment.
