Dear Sir or Madam,
Resolution No. 1133/2023 of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, published in the Official Gazette today, clarifies that the non-remunerative allowance provided for in DNU No. 438/2023 (the “Allowance”) may be absorbed to the extent that the collective agreements applicable to August and September 2023 remunerations have expressly provided for an absorption mechanism, or that the negotiating committees of ongoing collective negotiations so agree.
In the event that the absorption mechanism has not been agreed upon, the Allowance may not be absorbed.
