CIRCULARS

Customs & International Trade Department Report | AFIP General Resolution No. 5587/2024

On October 22, 2024, the following resolution was published in the Official Gazette. Through this resolution, General Resolution No. 4710/20 AFIP, regarding the establishment of precautionary export reference values, has been repealed and the Red Value Channel eliminated.

On the other hand, it was established that final export declarations for consumption must proceed through the applicable selectivity channels, in accordance with the procedure set forth in General Resolution No. 1,921 and its amendments. However, such operations may be subject to ex-post value controls under General Resolution AFIP 5002/2021.

Likewise, Customs is empowered to issue the necessary rules for the “selection, administration and determination of the customs value in export declarations”.

The regulation will become effective on the first business day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
