CIRCULAR
International Trade and Customs Department report | Prohibition to enter the country (Argentina).
On March 16th, 2020, Decree No. 274/2020 was published at the Official Gazette. This new Decree forbids non-resident foreigners to enter the country for a 15-days term. The objective of this temporary restriction is to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the country.
However, the Decree establishes the following exceptions:
(I) People conducting international trade operations by land, air, sea, river or lake;
(II) Ships and aircraft crew members;
(III) People performing sanitary flights and transfers.
People falling under these exceptions shall be able to enter the country provided that they do not show symptoms compatible with COVID-19 and that they comply with the recommendations and instructions issued by the Sanitary Authorities.
