On August 7, 2025, Decree No. 563/2025 was published in the Official Gazette, whereby the Executive Branch eliminated Export Duties (commonly referred to as “retenciones”) applicable to a broad range of minerals and mining-related products, by setting the applicable rate at 0% for 231 tariff positions. posiciones arancelarias. It is worth noting that Decree No. 563/2025 did not reduce the Export Duty applicable to silver and lithium carbonate, which remain subject to a 4.5% rate. As for gold alloy or doré bullion, its rate had already been set at 0%.
