Dear Sir or Madam,
On October 11th, 2023, the National Communications Agency (“ENACOM”) published on its official website the date of the bidding for the frequency bands of fifth-generation (5G).
The bidding process establishes the frequency band allocation between 3,300 and 3,600 MHz to the land mobile service with the primary category. In this call, 300 MHz will be submitted to the auction procedure, in three lots of 100 MHz each.
Three mobile service provider companies were presented to the bidding process, which have already submitted the bid guarantees and have been prequalified as bidders. Around US$1.05 billion is expected to be raised.
