Buenos Aires, Febreuary 4, 2026 — Beccar Varela received two awards at the Latin Finance 2025 Deals of the Year Awards, presented on January 29, 2026, in New York. The awards recognize the most outstanding transactions in Latin America’s financial and capital markets. The firm was honored for its role as legal advisor in the international public offering of ADSs of Grupo Financiero Galicia and in the syndicated loan granted to the Vaca Muerta Oil Sur (VMOS) project.

In the Equity Follow-On of the Year category, the jury highlighted Grupo Financiero Galicia’s USD 636 million international offering, which marked the return of Argentine issuers to the international capital markets after nearly a decade. Beccar Varela advised the company through a team led by partners Luciana Denegri, María Shakespear and María Benson, with the support of associates María Victoria Pavani and Julián Alejandro Ojeda. The company was also assisted by Gibson Dunn.

“This recognition underscores the collaborative effort and the strength of a transaction that represented a milestone for Argentina’s capital markets. Having advised Grupo Financiero Galicia on a transaction of this scale is a source of great pride for the entire team”, said Luciana Denegri, who attended the ceremony together with partner Felipe Videla.

In the Loan of the Year category, the Vaca Muerta Oil Sur (VMOS) project was recognized for its USD 2 billion syndicated loan, one of the most significant financings in Argentina in recent decades, aimed at funding the construction of the Vaca Muerta Oil Sur pipeline. In this transaction, Beccar Varela advised the lenders, a group of 19 leading banks and institutional investors. The firm’s team was composed of partners Ricardo Castañeda, Lucía Degano, Pedro Silvestri and Gonzalo Ochoa. The lenders were also advised by Milbank.

“This award recognizes the complexity and significance of a financing that played a key role in the development of Vaca Muerta and in positioning Argentina in the international energy markets. The transaction represented a major challenge due to the number of banks and institutional investors involved, the complexity of the structure, the characteristics of the project and the magnitude of the financing. The collaborative work of all parties and their teams was essential to the success of the transaction”, said Ricardo Castañeda, partner at Beccar Varela who led the firm’s advisory role in this transaction.

Latin Finance also recognized the acquisition of Atria Soluciones Logísticas from Southern Cross Group by Rocktree Logistics Group as SME Deal of the Year, a transaction in which Beccar Varela acted as legal advisor.
