Buenos Aires, March 15th, 2019. On March 13th, Beccar Varela promoted Dr. Daniel Levi to partner, in recognition of his dedication and expertise, which have allowed him to develop a promising and exceptional career. Daniel focuses on the areas of Corporate Finance, Banking and Financial Institutions, and Corporate Law. He joined the firm in 2004.

Daniel has extensive experience advising on local and cross-border financial transactions, acting either on the financial institutions’ or on the borrowers’ side. He actively works in fintech and impact finance matters. Furthermore, he advises clients on banking law matters, corporate, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and commercial contracts.

Daniel obtained his Law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (2006) and a Masters in finance from Universidad del CEMA (with distinction, 2011). He also studied Negotiation at Harvard Law School (USA, 2014), Private Equity & Venture Capital at INSPER Institute (Brazil, 2016), Fintech and Innovative Banking at the Imperial College of London (2018) and Digital Banking at Universidad Di Tella (2018).

He worked as a foreign associate at Pinheiro Neto Advogados (Sao Paulo, Brazil) during the years 2015-2016, and as professor on Contracts and Negotiation at the Universidad de Palermo (since 2009).

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Public Bar Association and of the International Bar Association. He also actively participates in the Argentine-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CAMBRAS).
