Beccar Varela advised IDB Invest on a loan of up to USD 65 million granted to Banco CMF
Buenos Aires, June 18, 2026 — Beccar Varela advised Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest), a member of the IDB Group, in connection with a loan of up to USD 65,000,000 granted to Banco CMF S.A., consisting of (i) an A Loan of up to USD 45,000,000 to be financed by IDB Invest; and (ii) a B Loan of up to approximately USD 20,000,000 to be financed by institutional investors.
The financing is intended to expand the bank’s productive lending operations to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Argentina, contributing to greater access to financing for this market segment. The loan has a term of three years, with a one-year grace period and the possibility of being renewed at IDB Invest’s discretion for up to two additional three-year periods.
In this transaction, Beccar Varela advised IDB Invest on the negotiation, structuring and documentation of the financing, as well as throughout the transaction process through closing.
