Beccar Varela advises Petróleos Sudamericanos on the acquisition of CGC’s interest in the La Ventana and Río Tunuyán fields

Beccar Varela advised Petróleos Sudamericanos S.A. (“PS Energy”) on the acquisition of the interest held by Compañía General de Combustibles S.A. (“CGC”) in two conventional hydrocarbon areas in the province of Mendoza, marking a significant step in PS Energy’s expansion strategy in the conventional segment. The assignment agreement was executed on November 3, 2025, with effect as of November 1, 2025.
PS Energy acquired the 30% interest held by CGC in the La Ventana and Río Tunuyán areas, thereby assuming 100% of the operations in both concessions located in northern Mendoza. The payment structure included an initial amount of USD 30,000 plus VAT, and a balance equivalent to 40,000 barrels of oil, to be settled over the next 48 months.
PS Energy is a company with more than 30 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production, currently focused on the development of conventional fields in the provinces of Río Negro, Neuquén and Mendoza.
