Dear Sir or Madam,
An Official Notice of the National Institute of Industrial Property (the “Official Notice”), published in the Official Gazette yesterday, establishes that the offices will be opened to the public with minimum guards and with prior appointment.
In this connection, in compliance with Administrative Decision N°524/2020 of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, the National Institute of Industrial Property indicated that all the information related to the procedures that will be attended by each area and the way to obtain the appointments are published on the following website of the National Institute of Industrial Property: https://www.argentina.gob.ar/inpi.
Likewise, the National Institute of Industrial Property warned that the online procedures portal will remain enabled for all the procedures that can be fulfilled by this means and that the appointments will be limited to the cases wherein users must necessarily attend the offices of the National Institute of Industrial Property because the procedure is not accessible through the online procedures portal.
On the other hand, the terms of all the substantive procedures of the National Institute of Industrial Property will remain suspended according to Resolution N°34/2020 of the said body until April 26, 2020, and its extension will be subject to what the National Executive Branch establishes as a sanitary measure and in the internal order for the National Public Administration.
