Dear Sir or Madam,
Resolution No. 1473/2023 (the “Resolution”) of the National Communications Entity (ENACOM), published in the Official Gazette on October 26th, 2023, concludes the selection process for the allocation of frequency bands for the provision of the Reliable and Intelligent Telecommunications Service (“SteFI”).
The tender consisted of lots 1, 2, 3A, and 3B, which were awarded as follows:
• Lot 1, comprising the frequency band between 3,300-3,400 MHz for the provision of STeFI, was awarded to “Amx Argentina Sociedad Anónima” for three hundred and fifty million fifty-two thousand dollars (US$ 350,052,000).
• Lot 2, comprising the frequency band between 3,400-3,500 MHz for the provision of STeFI, was awarded to “Telecom Argentina Sociedad Anónima” for three hundred and fifty million twenty-six thousand dollars (US$ 350,026,000).
• Lot 3B, comprising the frequency band between 3,550-3,600 MHz for the provision of STeFI, was awarded to “Telefónica Móviles Argentina Sociedad Anónima” for the amount of one hundred and seventy-five million thirteen thousand dollars (US$ 175,013,000).
• Lot 3A was declared vacant.
