Dear Sir or Madam,
Resolution No. 167/2020 of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) (the “Resolution”), published in the Official Gazette today, extends the suspension of terms originally provided by Resolution No. 16/2020, later extended by Resolutions No. 22/2020, No. 34/2020, No. 37/2020, No. 42/2020, No. 47/2020, No. 51/2020, No. 69/2020, No. 78/2020, No. 109/2020, No. 116/2020, No. 127/2020 and No. 142/2020.
In this connection, due to a new extension of the mandatory and preventive social isolation provided by Decree N°792/2020 of the National Executive Branch, the National Institute of Industrial Property decided to newly extend the suspension of terms until October 25, 2020, inclusive.
Finally, the Resolution establishes that the minimum guards and with prior appointment, provided by Administrative Decision Nº524/2020 on April 23, 2020, will be maintained.
