Sofía Deferrari is a senior lawyer at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 2014.

She focuses on litigation and arbitration. She has extensive experience handling national and international arbitrations. Currently, she participates in disputes in which she represents internet intermediaries.

Sofía obtained her Law Degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (graduated with honors, 2013) and her Master’s degree in International Law from the University of Heidelberg, Germany (2017), with the highest distinction. She was awarded a scholarship for academic excellence, granted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In addition, in 2018 she obtained a Diploma for having completed the “Internet and Telecommunications Technology Law Program” at the Universidad de San Andrés, Argentina.

Sofía is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

She speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
