Rocío Panizza is a senior associate at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 2010.

Her practice areas include corporate advice, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, private equity and venture capital, trusts and anti-money laundering. She assists foreign investors in doing business in Argentina and participates in transactions related to telecommunications, trust service providers, entertainment industries, insurance and reinsurance companies, and agribusiness, among others. She also assists local and international companies in providing day to day advice. Rocío also has experience in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements and due diligence of companies for purchasing or selling purposes.

Rocío obtained her Law degree from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2009), carried out her LLM in Law and Economics from the same university and was an exchange student in LLM for Foreign-Trained Lawyers at Brooklyn Law School (2014). She worked as a foreign associate at Pérez- Llorca (Madrid, Spain, 2017-2018)

She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.

She speaks Spanish and English.
