Rafael M. Lobos is a partner at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 1982.

His practice areas include mergers & acquisitions, company agreements, international disputes and arbitration.

Rafael obtained his Law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (1981) and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Columbia University School of Law (New York, 2004). He also obtained a Masters Degree in Corporate Law from Universidad Austral (1993) and a Diplôme Supérieur d’Université en Droit Civil from Université de Droit de Paris (1985). He has a degree in Political Science from Universidad Católica Argentina (1979).

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Rafael has been recognized by Chambers Latin America, Chambers Global (as Foreign Expert for France in Dispute Resolution), The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, LACCA Approved and Benchmark Latin America.
