Luz Patrón Costas is a senior associate at Beccar Varela. She joined the firm in 2012.

She focuses on Company Law, Mergers and Acquisitions/Corporate and Agribusiness. She has broad experience advising foreign investors in the establishment of subsidiaries and start-ups in Argentina, giving support in mergers and acquisitions and collaborating in triple impact projects (economic, social and environmental).

Luz obtained her Law dregree from Universidad Católica Argentina (2014). She pursued postgraduate studies in Strategic Management for Sustainable Development (UADE, 2017) in Legal Regime of Agribusiness (Universidad Austral, 2017) and in Triple Impact Law (Universidad Austral, 2022).

She participated as co-author in the “Legal Guide for Social Ventures in Argentina: Which is the Most Suitable Structure to Create a Social Company?” (Thomson Reuters Foundation, 2016) and in the “Guía Práctica Jurídica para Emprendimientos Sociales” (Thomson Reuters Foundation, 2021).

Since 2020, she has been a speaker for the Organizational Governance Chair of the IAE Business School’s Executive Program for Board and Shareholder Training.

Luz is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.

She speaks Spanish and English.
