Juan Pablo Chevallier-Boutell is an advisory partner of Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 1990.  From 1990-2012 he was partner, responsible for the Insurance Department.

His practice areas include insurance and reinsurance, and he has broad expertise in regulatory and corporate matters.

Juan Pablo received his law degree from the Universidad Catolica Argentina (1967). From 1970 to 1980 Juan Pablo was professor of Commercial Law at the UCA.

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and of the Association Internationale du Droit des Assurances (AIDA), Argentina Chapter.

Juan Pablo has been recognized by Chambers Latin America, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, and Latin Lawyer 250.
