José Miguel Puccinelli is a partner at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 1995. José heads the firm’s French Desk, which has a close relationship with the French-Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI France Argentine).

His practice areas include mergers & acquisitions, credit cards, art law and inheritance law and corporate advice.

José obtained his Law degree from Universidad Nacional del Litoral (1988) and obtained several degrees in France (License in Private Law, Université d’Angers, 1992; Master in Business Law, Université d’Angers, 1993; and DEA in Private International Law, Université Panthéon-Assas, 1994).

Since 2006, he is a professor of Art Law at the ESEADE (Licenciatura en Curaduría y Gestión del Arte).

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the International Bar Association (IBA), and the Liste de Notoriété of the French Consulate in Buenos Aires.

José has been recognized by Chambers Global as a Foreign Expert for France for Corporate/M&A.

He speaks Spanish, French and English.
