Ezequiel Pien is an associate of Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 2022.
His practice focuses on domestic and international arbitration, with experience in proceedings conducted under various institutional rules (including ICC, UNCITRAL, among others). He also has experience in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in contractual advisory matters.
Previously, he worked at the arbitral Institution Delos Dispute Resolution and served as a Research Assistant to arbitrator Hafez Virjee.
Ezequiel obtained his Law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (2021). He pursued a Master´s in Law and Economics at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2023).
Since 2023, he has served as coach of the Universidad de San Andrés team in the FDI Moot, an international investment arbitration competition. In 2021 and 2022, he coached the University of Buenos Aires team in the same competition. Between 2021 and 2025, he taught the course “Alternative Methods for Dispute Resolution” at the University of Buenos Aires. In addition, he collaborates as an Assistant Editor for the Guide to Arbitration Places published by Delos Dispute Resolution.
He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA).
He speaks Spanish and English.
