Emilio Beccar Varela is a partner at Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 1986. He co-heads the firm’s Intellectual Property and TMT (Telecommunications, Media and Technology) Departments.

His practice areas include media and entertainment, telecommunications, information technology, intellectual property and corporate advice. He also has broad expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Emilio obtained his Law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (1986).

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and is a member of the board of the Argentine-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

Emilio has been recognized by Chambers Latin America, The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, Leaders League and ILO Client Choice.

He speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
