Constanza Connolly is a senior associate of Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 2009. She is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono work Committee.

Her practice areas include corporate law and M&A. She counsels in family estate and company succession planning, and in the management and resolution of company conflicts. She has broad expertise in the design of start-up and entrepreneurship businesses, as well as businesses seeking positive social and environmental impact following a triple bottom line model. She also advises on the development and incorporation of civil associations and foundations, and on impact investments.

Constanza obtained her Law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (2001) and her Masters in Corporate Law from Universidad Austral (2003).

She has authored several articles on corporate law and has been a speaker in various congresses. Her most recent publications include: “Shareholders’ Rights (in Private and Public Companies): a Global Guide from Practical Law” (Thomson Reuters, 2014 and 2015), “B Corp: Could the Business Association of the Future be Enclosed in our Current Business Corporations Act?” (2013), and she contributed to “Legal Guide for Social Ventures in Argentina: Which is the Most Suitable Structure to Create a Social Company?” (Thomson Reuters Foundation, 2016). She was awarded with the 2017 TrustLaw Lawyer of the Year Award (Thomson Reuters Foundation, 2017).

She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

She speaks Spanish and English.
